The counselors, they always are the best and make it a great FUN time, mixed with feeling good about herself and COMFORTABLE to be yourself and silly. The next thing she loves is the structure and mix of activities and down time and evening activites, it works!!! your scheduling works!…Gave her a chance to be herself and have FUN, and be away from the phone, and tv and computer

Everything the variety of things to do is amazing. Both of my girls find and enjoy everything. The staff is so creative to provide programs that fit the age group and keep them engaged

You were wonderfully attuned, caring, and supportive of him…. He liked that Matt knew who he was early into his stay there
– Kathy A
Chris was able to do things that he enjoys such as tennis and cooking. However, he also tried many things that he had never done and enjoyed them…. Further, the thoughtful evaluations by the staff which we requested were even more helpful. We realize it is not easy to do that with each camper.

You helped Mark get over his homesickness, helped him stay the course and made him feel positive about himself and his experience at camp. That was HUGE!!

The counselors, the camaraderie of being in a cabin, the activities. He loved the music program (of course!) but surprisingly talked about other activities even more. He really felt like part of a group, and he speaks so highly of the counselors, he now aspires to be one someday.

she was well welcome by an american girl and she introduced my daughter to her friends from last year. they stayed all together all the four weeks. my daughter told me: “I met friends here that I would like to have at home.
– Marie-Claude C
She enjoyed EVERYTHING! But she especially loved the friendships made and activities like cooking, jazzercize and wake-boarding. The evening programs were really fun too! She loved the last dance! :]. She also liked how (campers) were a lot more independent at MTC and had more responsibilities than at other camps. Having the ability to choose their own activities every week so they could do what THEY wanted to do was great.
– Jo-Anne N
The security feeling, the informations sent, she comes back with a lot of self confidence. The teens needs adventure, this was achieved! Even the evening programs were good because the teens are never alone without supervision.

I was blown away by MTC’s strong sense of community and friendship between each and every single person in the camp. I’ll never forget what it was like to pull in on the day when I came to pick up Herman and everyone was holding one another and crying. It is very clear that MTC encourages and supports valuable relationships between the campers. Herman will never forget the friends he made at camp and he misses them already. We are both so grateful.
– Alison L
she loved the extreme sense of community and support among the campers, staff and owners. everyone was extremely respectful of one another and you knew you wouldn’t be judged….Rachel really appreciated seeing Matt and Monique involved in the camp in a hands-on way. She appreciated the way everything was so organized.
– Pam F
It was a unique experience for our daughter, which has made her more independent, more responsible, more confident. She’s also learnt quite a lot about America in particular about American teenagers, their lifestyle, their mentality, their school life, etc…All in all it was a very educational and a very fun experience for Alexandra.

I didn’t know how many friends I would make. I went to camp alone without knowing anyone — but I made so many friends and I am still in touch with them.

Every night there is something new to do and it’s fun for everyone. Dances are really great and so are the talent nights. This is the best summer of my life!

I was a camper, then I was an LT, and now I am a staff member. I absolutely love this place — it’s my second home and I can say that camp has made me who I am today.

The food is really good. I love the barbecue cook outs and the final banquet has amazing desserts!

To spend a summer at MTC, to me is like hitting the mega millions jackpot in the lottery. In the sense that one is exposing themselves to open their eye’s that much farther. Expand from your comfort zone. Making friends that will last a lifetime. The Wide array of activities MTC offers. The prime setting and location of the camp. Is a natural wonder within itself. The years I have spent at Maine Teen Camp have truly made me a better person on every aspect. It all started in early 2008. I was sitting in the school computer lab during my lunch period. I was on google trying to search for something I could do that coming summer. So I entered into the search. Summer Camps and Programs for Teenagers. Within seconds, the browser loaded. Out of the thousands of options on google. Maine Teen Camp was the first option on my google search. A search that I thought was going to take me quite a while wound up only taking me less than 5 minutes. From that less than five minute search on google. I found the place i would attend for three years. Go MTC! Thank you for the great experiences you offered to me. I felt like i hit the lotto jackpot.

When I greeted my two daughters at Miami airport, they both looked radiant, refreshed, happy, sun kissed and above all confidant. My oldest daughter, an LT this time around, simply said:”Best summer ever, just the best”. My youngest daughter said:”It didn’t live up to my expectations, it was far beyond my expectations, I absolutely loved it”. And I say:”This is America at its very best”.

There is no other place in the world that is happier than Maine Teen Camp. I remember the first day I was there. I was of course, sort of like a freshman at a new highschool, unaware of how the term was going to play out and in awe at how amazing the atmosphere was and still is. Mind you, THe difference between MTC and Highschool is, well everything. There is not one person you dislike. It is an experience that needs to be had by every teen That is passionate about love, Fun, sports, art, music, dance and so many other things that without we would not be individuals. I alone have written Three songs at camp and have realized that i have a passion for guitar. MTC has changed my life and without it I would still be that Shy small girl with no voice and nothing to leave in the world but a quietly said opinion that no one hears. I have life long friends that i would have never found at school. I love Maine Teen Camp and you should go or send your child as well
