Dan, Colby, Richard, Leon, Omar, Nigel and many others at MTC had a huge impact on the person that I am today. Being a 13-16 year old boy is not easy, and I always will remember Dan pushing to get the very best out us while still making it fun.

There is no other place in the world that is happier than Maine Teen Camp. I remember the first day I was there. I was of course, sort of like a freshman at a new highschool, unaware of how the term was going to play out and in awe at how amazing the atmosphere was and still is. Mind you, THe difference between MTC and Highschool is, well everything. There is not one person you dislike. It is an experience that needs to be had by every teen That is passionate about love, Fun, sports, art, music, dance and so many other things that without we would not be individuals. I alone have written Three songs at camp and have realized that i have a passion for guitar. MTC has changed my life and without it I would still be that Shy small girl with no voice and nothing to leave in the world but a quietly said opinion that no one hears. I have life long friends that i would have never found at school. I love Maine Teen Camp and you should go or send your child as well

When I greeted my two daughters at Miami airport, they both looked radiant, refreshed, happy, sun kissed and above all confidant. My oldest daughter, an LT this time around, simply said:"Best summer ever, just the best". My youngest daughter said:"It didn't live up to my expectations, it was far beyond my expectations, I absolutely loved it". And I say:"This is America at its very best".

To spend a summer at MTC, to me is like hitting the mega millions jackpot in the lottery. In the sense that one is exposing themselves to open their eye's that much farther. Expand from your comfort zone. Making friends that will last a lifetime. The Wide array of activities MTC offers. The prime setting and location of the camp. Is a natural wonder within itself. The years I have spent at Maine Teen Camp have truly made me a better person on every aspect. It all started in early 2008. I was sitting in the school computer lab during my lunch period. I was on google trying to search for something I could do that coming summer. So I entered into the search. Summer Camps and Programs for Teenagers. Within seconds, the browser loaded. Out of the thousands of options on google. Maine Teen Camp was the first option on my google search. A search that I thought was going to take me quite a while wound up only taking me less than 5 minutes. From that less than five minute search on google. I found the place i would attend for three years. Go MTC! Thank you for the great experiences you offered to me. I felt like i hit the lotto jackpot.

I was a camper, then I was an LT, and now I am a staff member. I absolutely love this place — it’s my second home and I can say that camp has made me who I am today.
