Academics

MTC’s academic program gives extra-help tutorials to campers who wish to enhance or improve upon their academic skills over the summer; who must complete some school work over the summer; or need a little extra help to prepare for the upcoming school year. 

We are not an academic program, but many of our staff are certified teachers and experienced educators who tutor in core languages, mathematics, English, creative writing, and the sciences. Campers are asked to bring current textbooks and guidance from their subject teachers at school. 

MTC offers English as a Second Language to our international campers to help improve their written and oral English communication. Once completed, campers receive a letter/certificate of completion of the program. (This program is offered for a nominal fee.)
