Maine Teen Camps ‘LT’ Program is newly revamped for the 2025 season!

As of this summer, campers aged 15 and older can elect "Leadership Training" as part of their activity schedule, and may choose to participate one week of their summer, or every week. No prior application or camp experience is required to participate in the LT program.

Each week we will examine and learn about a different aspect or theme of leadership - elements of leadership; teamwork & leadership; leadership styles; fostering inclusivity through leadership; group organization; time management; project management etc. 

Active and engaged participation in the leadership training curriculum is required. Campers who elect to join the LT class must be prepared to bring their energy, creativity, prior learning, and willingness to share ideas, and in turn, listen to peers. 

MTC will provide hands on learning and leading opportunities aligned with the weekly theme, frequent intergration with the community service program, and will provide a signed certificate documenting hours of leadership training received at the end of the summer.
