Performance Arts

Our Historic (105 year old) theater is iconic in Maine camping. In previous generations it has hosted Broadway legends, in 2025 it sets the stage for the stars of tomorrow, or those who just enjoy being part of something fun. 

Our theater program works with either original or adapted scripts, directing and producing our session long “Camp Show” which is performed at the end of each summer session for all of camp to attend.

We have a dedicated theater staff whose knowledge, experience, and unwavering committment to fun combine to set the stage for instruction in acting and improvisation, set design, technical lighting, stage combat and scriptwriting. 

Most importantly, campers are pivotal in planning and managing shows. This is a camp production, campers are the center.

In our beautiful lakeside dance studio, we offer instruction in Jazz, Modern, Latin, Breakdance, Couples, Line and Hip Hop! Whether just starting out as a beginner, or have been involved in dance for several years, campers are able to work with skilled and energetic dance instructors who can help to develop individual routines to perform them in front of camp!
